Francesco Di Carlo
My name is Francesco, I come from Italy and I am the Technical Director of Torino FC Academy Australia.
I have always played football in different teams in Italy. I combined my football career with my university career which I finished by obtaining a master degree in Sports Science. After my university studies, I studied for the UEFA coaching license and I coached in an elite football school in Bologna. In Sydney I coached in a NPL club, sports schools and many players with private sessions. My university background, combined with my experience as a coach and player, is strengthened by the elite training methods of Torino FC 1906. The use of data and tests will allow me to monitor constantly the progress of young players.
Nicolò Stecco
My name is Nicolò, I come from Italy and I am the Head Coach of Torino FC Academy Australia.
I played football for 15 years after which I then began my career as a coach.
I am a football coach with a UEFA coaching license valid throughout Europe.
I coached for 12 years in Italy, working with kids aged 3 to 18, and also covering the role of manager of a football school.
My philosophy is to put the young player at the centre of the project, helping him to grow with questions and thus develop smart players.
Another of my strengths is the calmness that I try to transmit to those I coach because in my opinion it is the key to making the young player feel comfortable to make mistakes as many times as necessary to complete his growth. The knowledge and use of the Torino FC methodology allows me to take my coaching career to the next level.
Mattia Manolio
My name is Mattia, I come from Italy and I am the Head Coach of Torino FC Academy Australia.
I have a long history in football both as a player and as a coach. I have been playing football since I was born and I developed my football skills in the youth sectors of professional Italian football clubs such as US Salernitana, a historic professional club located in southern Italy which currently participates in the Italian Serie B and with a recent past in Serie A. After completing the youth sector in the professional club, I began my adventure in first teams of semi-professional clubs both in Italy and in Asia. But my career is not just that of a footballer, in fact I am also a coach with experience both as a team coach and as a coach for individual sessions. I consider myself a very determined, hard-working and professional who pays attention to every detail. I like to bring enthusiasm and energy to teamwork which I believe is very important to achieve great results both on and off the pitch.
