Through our football training programs, Torino FC Academy Australia aims to develop the player comprehensively by improving the following concepts:
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Control of the ball; driving the ball; kicking the ball (pass, shot, cross); receiving the ball; hitting the ball with the head; throw-in; goalkeeper technique.
INDIVIDUAL TACTICS
In the ball possession phase (giving game options to the teammate, control and defense of the ball, passing, dribbling, shooting on goal), in the non-possession ball phase (positioning yourself correctly on the pitch, marking , intercept, tackle, defend the goal).
COLLECTIVE TACTICS
In the ball possession phase (movement of the offensive players to create game options for those who have the ball; player mobility therefore movement of the players to avoid giving points of reference to the opponents; searches for the deep pass to reach the opponent’s goal more quickly, avoiding that the opposing defense compacts; width therefore exploit the positioning of the players on the side lines in order to open gaps centrally in the opposing defense or surprise them with changes of play on the weak side), in the non-possession ball phase( arrangement of the players so that the one closest to the ball presses and the others move closer to intervene if the teammate is passed; stall to delay the opponents’ offensive action and allow the return of teammates; concentration and maintenance of the right distances between players and roles; team balance; teamwork; team pressing therefore coordinated action by the players to win the ball back).
PHYSICAL AND MOTOR SKILLS
Resistance, strength, speed, flexibility, mobility and coordination capacity such as balance, orientation, rhythm, reaction and transformation.
MOTIVATIONAL AREA
Team spirit, determination, teamwork, self-esteem, positivity, balance, desire to improve.
SOCIAL AREA
Socialize with each other; respect for the rules, teammates, opponents, referees and coaches.
